VSARA > Partner > Historical Records > VHRP Survey 2021
In the spring of 2021, the VHRP conducted a survey to gauge the needs of our constituents and to get a sense of the state of cultural heritage collections in Vermont. Our survey was based upon similar surveys administered at the state and national level in the 2000s and 2010s, especially Vermont’s Heritage at Risk: Findings and Preliminary Recommendations of the Vermont Connecting to Collections Project, completed in 2008.
We had three goals for our survey:
Read the final Vermont Historical Records Program Survey Report. Compare the VHRP results to the 2008 results by reading the Connecting to Collections Report.
Watch a 30-minute presentation on YouTube that discusses the results of the survey.
Download and share our survey infographics that present survey information for collections care workers, for cultural heritage administrators and funders, and for general public audiences or take a look at the poster about the survey presented at the 2022 Society of American Archivists conference.
