Let's Collaborate

The Vermont Historical Records Program (VHRP) is committed to developing and sustaining projects and other initiatives with partners throughout the State of Vermont. We collaborate with organizations and individuals on a broad range of historical records projects and are always interested in working with new partners.

Many of these partnerships are statewide. In some cases, they result in the incorporation of new organizations, including the Collections Care and Conservation Alliance (CCCA) and the Vermont Arts & Culture Disaster and Resilience Network (VACDaRN). Other collaborations, like serving on the Executive Committee of the Vermont Suffrage Centennial Alliance (VSCA), intentionally last for a limited time. The VHRP also serves as the statewide coordinator for Archives Month and other national initiatives.

In other cases, we work directly with a single collecting repository to support their strategic goals, often by seeking grant funds, or with a Vermont resident who is passionate about historical research or documenting a story of our state, through our civic engagement initiatives.

If you have ideas for how we could work together, please contact VHRP Director Rachel Onuf.
