Appointments and Oaths

With the exception of notary public oaths, which are recorded by the Office of Professional Regulation, all other appointments and oaths required to be be noticed to and/or recorded by the Secretary of State shall be filed with the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration in the manner prescribed by law.

Filing with Secretary of State

Original, written hard copies of the above State of Vermont appointments and oaths or, where applicable, notices should be mailed by the appointing authority listed in statute or, where required, the person who administrated the oath to the following address (Attn: Statutory Filings Administrator).
