CE
Act 117 (2022) went into effect on July 1, 2023 and requires licensed mental health professionals to complete one (1) hour of continuing education related to systematic oppression and anti-oppressive practice, or related areas. You must complete the one hour of continuing education beginning with your November 2024 renewal. Online courses are acceptable.
Per H.305 (2023), where administrative rules require in-person or face-to-face continuing education, synchronous (live or interactive and not pre-recorded) virtual continuing education courses qualify as live, in-person training and will be accepted for renewal. The Policy for Continuing Education and Impacts of COVID-19 will be rescinded as of November 30, 2024.
