Foreign-trained nurses must review the Administrative Rules for Assessment of Professional Credentials Obtained Outside the United States. Rule 4-1 states that qualifications obtained in a country or jurisdiction other than the United States must be evaluated by a CES that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (NACES) NACES | Credentials Evaluations Provided by NACES Members or the Association of International Credential Evaluators , Inc. (AICE) Evaluation Service Providers - Association of International Credential Evaluators. Inc. (aice-eval.org). Examples of approved CES services for foreign-trained nurses include but are not limited to the following:
