Learn about Candidates and Find Polling Places

Polling place locations are provided to our office by the town or city clerk. This listing is updated on a rolling basis. Please contact your town clerk for further information.

All polls in Vermont open between 5 and 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

My Voter Page

The My Voter Page is your primary online resource for all election information unique to you. You login to the page using your personal information and once there you may update your registration information, request and track the status of an absentee ballot, locate your polling place, view a sample ballot and listing of candidates for upcoming elections, and more.

Request Absentee Ballot

Active voters do not need to request absentee ballots for the November 5, 2024 General Election. The State mails general election ballots to all active registered voters, not later than October 1, 2024. Allowing time for postal delivery, voters should receive ballots in the first half of October.

You can check the status of your ballot, including the date it was mailed to you, online at your My Voter Page. If you are not registered to vote, you can register online or with your town clerk.

Have you moved within Vermont or won’t receive your original ballot at your usual address? You may request another ballot, but you will need to sign an Affidavit of No Ballot Cast. This protects election integrity by allowing your clerk to ensure one ballot per registered, qualified voter.

Town Clerks

If you cannot find your town in the listing, it is likely that it is listed under another name. Visit A Gazetteer of Vermont Places—Real Places in Vermont to find the town or city that represents your place of residence.

Voter Checklists

Each town or city in Vermont prepares a “checklist” of voters who are registered to vote within the town or city. The checklist contains the names and addresses of each resident who has been found to be a legally qualified voter in the town or city. Vermont checklists do not contain any political party information because there is no party registration in Vermont.
