Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas Will Hold 2024 Statewide Primary Election Canvass on August 20

Montpelier, VT - Vermont Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas announced that the Statewide Canvass of Vermont 2024 Primary Election results will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at the Secretary of State’s office, 128 State Street in Montpelier. The Canvass Committee Meeting begins at 10AM.

Secretary Copeland Hanzas, along with the three major party (Democratic, Republican and Progressive) Chairs, or their designees, will be certifying vote totals and winners for federal and statewide offices.

The Canvass is open to members of the public and the press. Secretary Copeland Hanzas will be available for questions following the Canvass.
