The Presidential Primary will be held on March 5th, 2024, the same day as Town Meeting Day in Vermont. Voters are reminded that by law they must declare which ballot, Democratic or Republican, they wish to vote when voting in the Presidential Primary, and that choice will be recorded. Presidential Primary ballots are not mailed out to Vermont voters (unlike General Election ballots) but voters may request absentee ballots through the My Voter Page at mvp.vermont.gov or by contacting their town or city clerk.
