Secretary of State Promotes Link for Obtaining Unofficial Election Night Results for Vermont Constitutional Amendment Questions

November 08 2022

Montpelier, VT – Today Vermont Secretary of State Jim Condos announced that unofficial election night results for Vermont’s two proposed Constitutional Amendments can be obtained from the Secretary of State’s website.

Proposition 2 and Proposition 5 make amendments to Vermont’s Constitution, if passed by voters.

Unofficial results on the two Constitutional Amendments will be updated and posted to the Secretary of State’s website on a regular basis as returns of unofficial election night results are reported by Vermont’s Town and City Clerks.

Preliminary and unofficial election night results for candidate races can still be found on the Election Night Reporting (ENR) site.

All election night results are preliminary and unofficial, until they are carefully reviewed and certified, as per Vermont election law.

Secretary Condos is encouraging all eligible Vermont voters who have not voted to vote at the polls today, saying “no matter how you vote, or your politics, I want to encourage you to get out and vote. Our democracy grows stronger when we all participate. Your vote is your voice – use it.”

All Vermont polling places will be open until 7pm. Unofficial election night results will begin appearing on the website and ENR site as they are reported by the Town and City Clerks.
